About Runday
Weekday, daytime run group for anyone.
If you’ve never run before, haven’t run in a while or love to run but want some guidance, accountability and a plan to help you get to where you want to be, then Runday is for you
Weekday daytimes – because so many people don’t work a 9-5!
Runday is here to help you get started or help you rediscover your running mojo and to support you with each step!
Sessions are based on time not distance, so we can all achieve together.
Pace and distance covered doesn’t matter (unless you want it to!), but getting 30 or 60 minutes of headspace and some air into your lungs really does!
About Us
How Does Runday Work?
Your group meets each Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings, giving you access to 3 runs each week.
If you’re a beginner, your training schedule will be delivered to you weekly, so if you can’t make a group run one week, or even if you know you’ll only ever be able to make 1 or 2 runs per week, you can still keep up with the progress of your group by doing the run you’ll miss at another time.
The hardest step of any run is the first one out of the door, WhatsApp or email contact outside of group runs, will keep you on track
Take a look at our courses page to find out which one is right for you!
Encouragement - Training together, racing together or cheering each other on. It's fun and rewarding to connect with likeminded people and be part of a team.
Accountability - own personal cheer squad. More motivated to stick to your training plan and hold each other accountable. Teammates expecting you to show up.
Safety - It's much safer to run in a group than alone
Planning - just turn up and run - Your route and session is already planned! You just need to be there and give it what you've got!
FREE hiviz Runday vest or T-shirt when you book onto your first group term!
Our Courses
Run30
For complete beginners, we will start by jogging for just 1 minute at a time. Perfect if you want to get into Parkrun or build up to a 30 minute run time.
Virtually Anything is Possible
If you can’t get to our Syston group runs, you can join us virtually and still receive the support of the Runday team, but you will run in your own time.
Run30x
This is for you if you’ve completed Run30, or can already jog for 30 minutes and want to get a bit faster and go a bit further on your 30 minute runs.
Run60
For you if you can already run steadily for 30 minutes and want to increase the length of time you can run for. Gradually increasing the duration of runs each week.
